Search & Resque vessels

Besides building yachts, Aluboot has extensive expertise on building SAR vessles, specifcally for the Dutch KNRM resque organisation. This experience has been acquired wihile building over 20 ships in the "Arie Visser" class, a 19 metre oceangoing design, and the Joh. Frederik class, a 15 metre predecessor ship. These robust and reliable boats carry their crew in safety and confort on any sea and any weather.

During the building process, there is constant consultation and discussion with architect, customer and the future crew. The latest technology, the most reliable solution and the best equipment is selected, tested and applied.

After specifying the equipment, engines and propulsion system, Aluboot will build the ship for a fixed - agreed - price, following the drawings and specifications. During the build, often several adaptations to construction will be made. These adaptations, except adaptations to equipment, will be inclusive in the fixed price.

Most designs are made by Naval Architect Willem de Vries-Lensch. Any construction changes and implementation of new ideas during the build will be discussed with, and approved and documented by the architect, who will finally record these changes in the drawings for future use..
